Hyun Bin Opens Up About Shedding Tears After “Harbin” Filming, With Son Ye Jin’s Heartfelt Support

On December 23, the YouTube channel “Zzanbro” featured a video with Hyun Bin, Jeon Yeo Bin, Park Jung Min, and Park Hoon, who star in the movie “Harbin.”

Set to premiere on December 24, “Harbin” is a gripping film about the intense pursuit and suspicion between those heading to Harbin in 1909 with a shared purpose and those chasing them. Hyun Bin plays the role of independence activist Ahn Jung Geun, delivering a passionate performance.
During the show, Park Hoon revealed, “The weight of this project was significant, and I had many conversations with Hyun Bin. On the final day of filming, Hyun Bin cried, and it caught my attention.”
He added, “I think it was a mix of relief from the heavy burden and emotions being released. He’s an incredibly strong person, but in that moment, it seemed like he let it all go. It was the first time I saw him cry.”

Hyun Bin admitted to feeling immense pressure portraying a historical figure. “The more well-known and symbolic the person is, the greater the weight of responsibility. After finishing, I felt a sudden release from my shoulders, and I think that’s why I became emotional,” he confessed.

Previously, at the VIP screening of “Harbin,” Hyun Bin’s wife, Son Ye Jin, also spoke about her concerns during filming. “Watching from the side, I felt so bad for him. He suffered a lot, his face grew thinner, and you could see the anguish in his eyes,” she said. Despite her worries, she expressed confidence in the outcome, adding, “Because he put so much thought into it, I’m certain this will be a great movie.”
Her heartfelt support quickly became a topic of conversation, further highlighting the dedication and effort poured into “Harbin.”
